The best approach to fight celiac disease is going on for a paleo diet. Named after the paleolithic time when the people were hunter-gatherers who used to cultivate large tracts of land with wheat, rice, etc. This paleo diet works because it may be like our genes have not developed yet to deal with the crops cultivated through modern agriculture. The Paleo diet is not very simple and there is a lot of difference between the paleo diet and the gluten-free diet. Everything which is included in a paleo diet is gluten-free but everything included in a gluten-free diet is not paleo which makes the paleo diet more restrictive. Fruit vegetables seeds etc are included in the paleo diet but it does not include grains, legumes, dairy products, and some kind of vegetable oils. Local organic and pasture-raised meats are encouraged by this paleo diet.
